Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is developed by a team of health care and ergonomics specialists developed to increase circulation, relieve tension, and help guard against Repetitive Stress Injuries (RSIs) such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS). It is intended to stop you from getting sore eyes or aches and pains from using a computer. The key to this is pacing your work - maintaining an even work rate, taking regular breaks before fatigue occurs, and doing stretches and exercises to rejuvenate your muscles.
Both short and long breaks refresh mind and body and are proven to reduce fatigue and enhance productivity. It gently reminds you to take periodic breaks while using your computer, ergonomic reminder cartoon agent are shown when the computer has been used more than self-determined maximums and at regular intervals a regime of onscreen exercises is displayed. On top of that, it plays (Real Person) exercises videos (if you want). These exercises are based on Cesar- and Mensendieck-therapy and greatly reduce the chance of getting RSI/CTD or (if you already have RSI/CTD) greatly increase the chance of improving/curing your injury. |
